Our Story
- Cayley
- Colby and I met in high school and dated for what seemed like forever. We were married January 20th of 2005 in the Salt Lake Temple. Colby always keeps himself busy and loves to hunt anything and everything. I keep myself busy being a mom and a part-time 5th grade teacher. We adopted our son, Miles, in August 2011 and are totally loving parenthood.

I can't even begin to say how excited I am for you guys. That is one lucky baby boy to have you as parents. He will be so loved. He is darling and meant to be in your family. I think he looks like you two. :) He is soooo precious. And yes life does change a lot but I agree with you. When those hard days come remember how you have longed for him to be in your lives and those days aren't so hard. It's amazing what a little tiny thing can bring into your lives. Cayley!!! I cried when I clicked on your blog and saw your first family picture! I know exactly what you meant when you said you just wanted to have a screaming kid in a store. :) I often thought those very same things. And they are right, your life does change, but you are even more right... you will never forget how it felt to want it so badly that when the worst fits are being thrown, it is ok. Gracie is now two and in the middle of some doozies but I just love her even more for making me feel even more 'normal'. The change is what our hearts have ached for!! We welcome the change!!!! Enjoy this time together! Miles is blessed to have a wonderful mama. Lots of love!
Oh Cayley I'm a month behind. I swear I've been thinking this whole month of Sept. "I've got to get on CAyley's blog to see if their baby is here yet!" What a sweetie! I'm so happy for you guys to finally have your little guy! And I love the name! It was actually one of my top picks for our little guy coming, but we've decided on another I think!
