The Wedding and Salt Lake

The Wedding
My little sister Brittany tied the knot a couple of weeks ago. She got married on a bright, sunny and freezing cold day in Idaho Falls. The day went just perfect (except for the part when we figured out I packed the wrong slacks for Colby and he had to wear his levis to the reception....OOPS!). They got married at 12:30 in a newly remodeled room in the temple. I guess they were only the second couple to be sealed in that room - pretty neat. Then they had a luncheon and reception that night. Then the next week they had a reception in Hooper. Congrats Sis! Here's a slideshow of the pictures I took.

Salt Lake

So last weekend I had a training for work in Salt Lake on Thursday and Friday. They paid for our hotel on Thursday night and Colby came down and spent the night with me. We had class Thursday afternoon and then we went on a tour at KSL. I was so excited because we got to meet Kevin Eubank. I know you might think I'm weird for wanting to meet him and get a picture, but we are learning all about weather in my class right now and I was so excited to get a picture with him because my students would think it was so cool. But I do have to say that I think Colby might have been even more excited than I was. :) Then we all went to dinner at Biaggi's in the Gateway. I must say it was wonderful! We left feeling more stuffed than we ever have before. If you haven't been there, I would definitely recommend it. It is Italian and they bring each course to the table separately on a big plate for the whole table to dig into. It was really yummy! We stayed at the Embassy Suites and our room was huge! There were two T.V.'s a microwave, fridge, wet bar, full size bathroom and a really nice bed. I don't think I have ever slept on a softer, more comfortable bed in my life! It was to die for. Then on Friday we just had class all day and then went home. It was a nice little getaway.

I took this picture from the inside of the hotel room. The entire center is all open and at the very bottom is where they serve breakfast and have the lounging area.
The front room sitting area of our room

This is kind of an awkward picture. I was in the sitting room looking through to the bedroom.

The most comfortable bed I have ever slept on!!!
