Fun Weekends

Last weekend was lots of fun for both of our families. Susan and Jeff had their second little girl on Saturday the 14th. They named her Annisten. I was so glad that she had her on the weekend so that I could be there. I was worried that I would be at work and would miss all the fun. But luckily, the timing was perfect. We all love baby Annisten so much. She is such a precious little angel in our family. I am so happy for you Susan! Now you get to raise your little girls 18 months apart, just like we were.

On that same day, we were able to be with Capri (Colby's sister) and Tyson at the temple to see them get their endowments taken out. That was also a special experience and we are very proud of them for the choice to go to the temple. They are going to be sealed in the San Diego Temple on their anniversary in just a couple of weeks, but we won't be able to be there. So we were happy we could be with them for this.

Then yesterday Colby was going to go snowmobiling, but once he got up to Monte, he realized the snow was like concrete. So he and his friend Mike decided to turn around and come home. Instead, they decided to take their wives (Kathryn and me) up to my family's cabin. We went up for the afternoon and had a lot of fun. We just kinda drove around and had fun. We went on a really steep hike because Colby saw an elk shed he wanted to pick up. So we all followed him up the mountain. I got some neat pictures from up on top. Then on our way home we stopped in Morgan and ate at the Spring Chicken Inn. It was a cute little restaurant I have never been to before. All in all we had a lot of fun!
