Well we had a great Christmas and are very grateful for being able to spend it with both sides of our family. Colby and I don't really do presents for each other because we feel like our parents spoil us enough. So we started out the day at my parents house. We go there every year for breakfast and then open our presents afterward. Thanks Mom and Dad for a great Christmas! Then we went to Colby's side of the family in the afternoon. He had a family party with all of his cousins, and then we went to his parents house to open gifts. This year Bryce called from his mission at night so I had to jet out for a while to talk with him while we were at Colby's parents house. Thanks everyone for being patient and waiting for me! It was really good to be able to talk to Bryce. He is doing so well and I am so proud of all his hard work as a missionary. I can't believe he is on the downhill to coming home. He gets back in October - Yay! All in all - our Christmas was just great.

Colby's Parents
On New Year's Eve we went Ice fishing with Mike and Kathryn. They took us to a pretty cool place in Idaho. We had a lot of fun - mostly because we weren't freezing thanks to their Ice Tent and heater that blocks out all the cold wind. Everyone caught a fish but me :( Oh well I am used to it. I never have been very good at fishing. We had a great time - and the fish we caught were HUGE! (At least that is what I thought)
